Order for Enforcement of the Act on Ensuring Proper Transactions Involving Specified Entrusted Business Operators (Tentative translation)

The Cabinet hereby enacts this Cabinet Order pursuant to the provisions of Article 5, paragraph (1), Article 12, paragraph (1), and Article 13, paragraph (1) of the Act on Ensuring Proper Transactions Involving Specified Entrusted Business Operators (Act No. 25 of 2023).

Article 1 (Period Specified by Cabinet Order Referred to in Article 5, Paragraph (1) of the Act)

The period specified by Cabinet Order as referred to in Article 5, paragraph (1) of the Act on Ensuring Proper Transactions Involving Specified Entrusted Business Operators (hereinafter referred to as the "Act") is one month.

Article 2 (Matters Specified by Cabinet Order as Referred to in Article 12, Paragraph (1) of the Act)

The matters specified by Cabinet Order set forth in Article 12, paragraph (1) of the Act are as follows:

(i)the content of business;

(ii)the matters concerning the place, period, or time during which the business is to be engaged;

(iii)the matters of its remuneration;

(iv)the matters related to the cancellation of the contract (including the cases where the contract is not renewed after the expiration of the contract period);

(v)the matters of the person recruiting specified entrusted business operators.

Article 3(Period Specified by Cabinet Order Referred to in Article 13, Paragraph (1) of the Act)

The period specified by Cabinet Order as referred to in Article 13, paragraph (1) of the Act is six months.

Effective Date

(1)This Cabinet Order comes into effect as of the date of enforcement of the Act (November 1, 2024).
